Good advice, for about five thousand years. The catch is that off-the-shelf software is the wheel now: a fine generic default, right up until your business is the one stuck in the gap between almost-fits and fits. Closing that gap is the whole reason CompVer exists.
Approach
The standard agency model puts a client in the position of managing a team: a project manager who translates to engineers who translate to a client who isn't technical enough to know if the translation was right. Every handoff introduces error and misaligned incentives.
CompVer cuts that. One principal holds the full scope: assessment, architecture, build, and rollout. The client talks to the same person who makes the technical decisions and writes the code. Where consultants contribute, they do so under that principal's direction, not as an independent translation layer. The work is compliance-grade by design, not by intention, because one person is accountable for all of it.
What compliance-grade means
"Compliance-grade" is a specific claim. It means audit trails are wired in from day one. It means human-in-the-loop review before any automated result saves. It means reconciliation: when two sources disagree, the conflict is surfaced explicitly rather than silently averaged away. And it means an immutable log of every action, human or automated, that a compliance reviewer can inspect on demand.
These are architectural requirements, not aspirations. They're enforced through SmartBox™ (patent pending), CompVer's ingestion-and-extraction engine that runs under every build.
Ownership
Every system CompVer builds is owned outright by the client. No license, no vendor lock-in, no dependence on CompVer to keep running. The handoff is clean by design: documented, tested, and structured so any competent developer can take it from there.
